Why I married a baker.

From the creator of:
The Most Dense Chocolate Mudcake Ever Made (7kg of dark chocolate mudcake, also my wedding cake):

Yes, the knife stood in the cake like that on its own.  I was 30kg lighter at my wedding, and I’m attributing at least 5kg of my current weight to eating this cake.
The First Anniversary Present Made To Appease The Cravings of A Pregnant Wife – also chocolate mudcake and made to remind me of the first cake he ever made me, which was the same but had mine and a friend’s name on it (he took “if you wanna be my lover, you gotta get with my friends rather seriously):

Chocolate Mudcake AND Pink Frosting – I couldn’t be luckier!
THE Name Cake:

We transported this from Young to Canberra (just under 2hrs drive) back in the day when there were no children and no car seats, and as such, space in the back seat.
And the long awaited and long-requested 26th Birthday Black Forest Cake:

OMG well worth the wait (and weight) but don’t tell him that, he’ll make me wait as long again (i may have been nagging asking for a black forest cake for over a year).
Now comes:

Henceforth to be called “The Most Delicious Home-made (as home-made as a baker/pastry chef by trade can home-make something) Hot Cross Buns EBBER – now with mixed peel AND sultanas.
Happy Easter :)
