It’s things I love Sunday, also Mother’s Day and 3 weeks until the Two turn the big ONE.
1. Mandarin season! The kids love them, I love them, they make lunches super easy and mandarin season means orange season is right around the corner and we have an orange tree in the back yard, overflowing with ripening fruit. I love the way Fraser shoves entire segments of the fruit in his mouth all at once and begs for more immediately. I love watching the juice run down his little chin.

2. Mother’s Day Cards written by fathers on behalf of children. Pal always tries to make it a little funny, and his daggy sense of humour always makes me laugh.

This one says:
Dear Mum <3 <3 <3
You are the best Mum we’ve ever had. Even though dad is super cool and down right awesome we love having you around, you’re not half bad. Thank you for the love even though sometimes we don’t show you enough, we appreciate everything you do.
Love Rory, Fraser and Oscar xoxo <3 X a Million
It doesn’t seem like much but last year I received a piece of scrap paper with “Dear Mum, you are the best mum I ever had, love Rory” written on it. This card is certainly a step up.
3. The anticipation of something special. Apparently Roo made me a gift at daycare and I can’t wait to get it over dinner tonight.
4. Blog love. This week I’ve received so much blog love due to linking with Where’s My Glow and Help!Mumand it’s so nice to know I’m nit talking to myself. FYBF pushed me over 60 views in one day. I’ve only ever had 19 before then. So thank you Glowless and Help!Mum’s Tenille and her Morning Tea Recipe Swap for the support and opportunity! Everyone should follow them – they have beautiful, funny and interesting blogs.
I’ve been exposed to an amazingly wonderful and supportive blogging community and I’m so glad I decided to give blogging one last go (who am I kidding?)
